Honestly, I don’t think there are any magic bullets in a bottle. What helped me was exercise (outside) and cold water swimming. It’s the cold water therapy in particular that makes a huge difference for anxiety.

Exercise is what I was actually thinking too
it’s an awful feeling really

When I had the care of a more elderly difficult lady and was feeling down, a nurse suggested magnesium so I got a bottle of a liquid supplement and it worked. Though it might have been having someone notice!

Well you should be exercising anyway, but in my experience it doesn't make much difference.

When started in peri, I spent many a exercise session or long walk, streaming with tears.

What I really needed were hormones. Started HRT and nearly two years later I rarely cry, I look forward to things again and I have a better relationship with DH which was really suffering due to my endless weeping.

I do find the clover and sage tabs help with the night sweats though, which 100mcg of Oestrogen can't get on top of.

I hope you feel better soon. It took me two or three years to work out why all of a sudden I felt my marriage was a disaster and I was crying for two weeks every month. What a waste of my life!

I promise you can feel better.

Thank you for your kindness 💐

I have a job that involved a huge amount of walking but yes - I have left exercise as an activity go partly due to childcare (dh has caring responsibilities so I’m tied up but I can make it work and go back to regular swimming for sure)
