Alphaguess - another frustrating word game

Fans of Wordle, Connections etc. I've got a new one for you - Alphaguess. It can be any word at all, no limits on the number of letters, all you know is where it is alphabetically in relation to your guess - frustrating and compelling in equal measure.

I actually had my best result today by complete fluke - am often much higher numerically in guesses.

@Runnersandtoms I was the same with forgetting certain combinations.

Today was my 2nd attempt. Do you guys who done it regularly have a staple first word guess? I bet its a word beginning with M or N.

I was going mad until I realised I was overlooking a (very obvious) letter combination at the start...

Yes, I always start with mother.

I start with an M word but choose a different word every day - I enjoy this game when it's challenging, I'm not trying to finish it quickly.

I can usually do Wordle in less than a minute and that gets boring.
