She’s as divisive as I thought she would be blatantly lieing saying defence spending wasn’t mentioned in the budget when it was. She accused starmer of student politics but she’s the one playing that by what she is saying. Then having a go at his scripted answers by reading from her own script lol.
yes I know what pmqs are but as herself it always seems to me that she comes across as nasty and spiteful what do you think

Completely disagree.

I think she gets to the point and comes across as intelligent and articulate.

Very little if any was said about the defence spending in the budget last week. Whatever was said was almost forgettable as I watched the budget and can't remember anything that was said about it.

Do you remember what was said?

She is actually making me feel I may vote conservative for the first time if she carries on being this good and I have never voted conservative in my life.

I agree she did well. He was blustering and jeering like mad. Not good

I agree with you OP, that she comes across as nasty, and spiteful. Qualities that some people will like, overlook, or excuse away, no doubt.

I thought the same about him. Bullying and nasty rather than answering calmly

All the turning around to get the jeers and so on

What a nonsense

Defence was mentioned 18 times in the budget.

icantwaitforsummer · 09/11/2024 13:26

The number the word defence was said wasn't what I was asking.

It wasn't covered in detail as much as other issues were. That's what Kemi was referring to.

jivebunnies · 09/11/2024 13:32

he's toast next election

At least with Kemi she actually seems to say what she thinks. She's not saying 'let's jettison uni tuition fees' one minute and then raising them the next. And she was forthright that winter fuel allowance needed to be means tested, she didn't pretend it was a sacred cow for years on end and then make the threshold cruelly low.
