Why did Trump supporters say they voted for freedom?

I seen some trump supporters interviewed last night about why the voted trump.
A few said the economy/immigration.
A few said freedom.

But what does freedom mean here?

How are they not free now??

I think they mean freedom from immigrants, freedom to say whatever the heck they want with no consequences.

Freedom from reproductive rights,
freedom from living on a planet with a habitable climate,
freedom from being able to vote for a morally sound candidate,
freedom from having to think about the consequences of their actions ...

That kind of thing.

I could honestly weep for humanity this morning.

Trump paints himself as an anti establishment figure. So I think they mean freedom from rules and conventions.

Freedom from morals, boundaries and ethics?

It reminded me of brexit voters saying they voted brexit for sovereignty
