not watching yet but a big TRIP fan here 😁

There seemed to be some problems with the volume first thing, and the lighting's not great, but everyone looks very smart. (Bit weird for me, because normally I listen to every episode rather than watch).

There's Alistair, Rory and Scaramucci from TRIP, Dominic from TRIH and Marina from TRIE.

Marina is holding her own really well I think. Alistair playing host very well so far.

I'm not sure how well it's going. I wonder if there are too many people in the conversation at once? Would it be best to start off with the TRIP/TRIPUS hosts and then bring Marina or Dominic in for stints?

Rory's just flown in from Australia to do 8 hours podcasting. I think he may regret this decision.

Half these people loathe and/or despise each other and Marina called Alistair a war criminal on her podcast a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to tune in when I wake up tomorrow to see if there's been bloodshed.

I love the Mooch but his anecdotes go on too long. I think Dominic and Marina might flop on the desk at some point, with exhaustion of the ears.

On another note, can anyone believe that Rory Stewart was ever a tory? supported austerity, etc? I wonder sometimes what the uk would have looked like if he'd won the leadership election? For him, it's probably good he didn't. Being a conservative prime minister seems to bring out the ugly in all of them.

Started watching C4 coverage, they introduced Boris Johnson as a guest and I switched right over to TRIP. Cannot contemplate listening to BJ blathering on 🙄
