I'm not complaining, just curious. Although I do struggle to manage my dc in crowded places as they have autism and can get overwhelmed so I tend to actively choose to go places at quieter times.
I've noticed since the last lockdown ended it has been busier in town. But this week it's been really busy.
Yesterday it was an inset day for 2 of the dc so we went to the disability session at the trampoline park. There was about 20 people which was more than I would expect but more than quiet enough for the dc needs. Then afterwards there was a stampede as easily 100 people turned up to the next session. Then today we went into town and tried 3 car parks before we found a space. Normal for a Saturday but very unusual for a weekday.
Are there schools on half term this week? I thought most had it last week and a few the week before. Surely it's too early for town to be busy with the Christmas shopping.
I'm wondering whether with the increase of WFH, more people are being more flexible with their working hours and doing things like taking a long lunch then working in the evening.
