Tumble Dryer or De Humidifier?

Our Tumble dryer has just packed up - so we need to get something sorted- ive heard good things about de humidifiers!

A Tumble will have to go in the garage which is a pain in the wet winter - but a humidifier we could use in the spare room ?

Thanks for all the replies! I was under the impresssion that the de humidifier was much cheaper to run than a tumble!
If thats not the case then i will go for a tumble dryer:)

I’ve been making do with a heated airer/dehumidifier combo for a few years now. It’s fine, but a bit of a faff and yes things like towels and bedding are so much softer after a spin in a tumble dryer

The new heat pump tumble dryers are a game changer. Cheaper and easier than just about any alternative
