If you're a Tory voter, who do you want for Leader?

I'm assuming, like most of the Tories I know, you would have gone for Cleverley. Of the options available, which one are you hoping for?

It will change ten times before the next election so I'm not worrying too much at the moment.

Ok, I'll own up, I haven't been a Tory voter, but i really like Kemi Badenoch, she knows exactly what a woman is and isn't afraid to say so. She stands up to Starmer, and is dismissive of wokery. If the Labour party didn't have such a chronic woman problem, they could do a lot worse than get a leader like her. Unfortunately the Left in UK don't seem to appreciate powerful clever women.

Why revive a 2 year old thread to post that drivel?

Dillydollydingdong · 09/02/2026 17:19

Kemi Badenoch

'Unfortunately the Left in UK don't seem to appreciate powerful clever women.'

I don't vote Tory but find this to be true. Men on the left who have spent years abusing women and (obviously) never saying a word about their rights are fighting like hell for the rights of "trans" women.

And they dare to refer to us as their sisters. Cunts.

Because this 'poster' is intent on peppering MN with anti-Labour posts.

"If the Labour party didn't have such a chronic woman problem, they could do a lot worse than get a leader like her. Unfortunately the Left in UK don't seem to appreciate powerful clever women."

Labour have given us -

  • The Sex Discrimination Act
  • The Equal Pay Act
  • The Equality Act
  • The Employment Act (enhanced maternity pay and leave, and provided the right to request flexible working.)
  • National Minimum Wage Act (disproportionately benefited women who make up the majority of low-paid workers.)
  • Working Family Tax Credit. Designed to help women who benefited from them five times more than men
  • Work and Families Act . Extended the right to request flexible working to parents of children up to 18
  • Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Act
PoachedSmoke · 09/02/2026 17:28

Kemi. 100%. I bloody love her!

But apart from that, what have Labour ever done for women ?

Boris. Or someone like him

Look. Someone worked very hard to find this thread, and revive it so that it tricks the algorithms into thinking there is a serious groundswell of Tory support. (Forget sleeper agents, it's sleeper threads that are the enemy within these days).

You've rather ruined that now. I hope you are proud of yourself. This thread will need to be sanitised now, before it can appear in a right wing online site of your choosing.

Thatsanotherfinemess1 · 09/02/2026 20:25

Kemi- I read a letter today that she wrote to a Gypsy family who were querying the lack of social housing pitches and was pleased to see how supportive and genuine she sounded. I have no particular political affiliation and was surprised that she was the only person to have replied when they also sent numerous letters to their labour mp and the housing minister and they ignored them

waltzingparrot · 09/02/2026 20:46

I think Kemi will make a great leader.

Ronald McDonald?

😂 why not at this point?

Pacificsunshine · 09/02/2026 21:02

Kemi of course.

Absolute Queen! 👸🏾
