Why is everything such bloody hard work?

Just a moan really and sick of moaning to my family. Ordered a bedframe online, nowhere on the advert does it say small double. I assumed it was a standard double as thats what I'd filtered for on the website. Yes it had the measurements on cm but I didn't look closely as I'd assumed the filters would filter I guess.

Anyway, bed arrives and it's a small double. Arranged a return and requested a pick up on Wednesday from the options given. Then get an email from the courier saying only option is Friday or Monday so I opt for Friday (today) - but of course they can't possibly be expected to give a slot other than between 7 and 9 until the day. So cancelled my swimming session this morning in case it was early, and worked from home. Slot came saying between 1 & 3 - great no problem.

At 2pm I get another email saying I'm the next collection and driver is on the way.
Would anyone like to guess if it's been collected? 😤

You have my sympathy (it took 4 goes to get a fridge once - two rounds of we can’t carry it up there madam and one wrong fridge)

It's painful isn't it? Tried to get through the courier company to no avail - kept closing down live chat! Eventually called the retailer and 40 minutes later they tell me the tracking says attempted collection no one home. My desk overlooks the drive, DS has been in all day and we have a ring doorbell - there's no way we missed anyone.
The last on the phone was sending me a link to rearrange delivery but that was an hour and half ago and guess what?

Everything is an absolute pain in the arse.

Everything is! Aside from delivery hassle it seems that every day tasks are becoming increasingly difficult.
We just got back from centre parcs and had to do everything on an app! I don't want to spend my holiday staring at an app. Absolutely no spontaneity any more, restaurants all need pre booking. We took DS friend with us and his mum gave him cash to spend, but if course it's cashless so that was another faff.
I can't even call my GP for an appointment now, it's an online form and wait for a call back which is if course very practical if you work.
I'm honestly at the point where I feel like I need to go part time as everything I need to do takes ages and is incompatible with full time work.
Sorry I know I'm moaning I've had a crap week where everything has been hard work
