Can you take candles on a Ryanair flight?

You can probably buy them airside (after security) but not take them through security.

They were fine! Candles and DS safely arrived.

I brought a candle in Italy last year and I got it home but I did have my bag swabbed and my friend did the same and she has the same thing happen

If the issue is Will the Airport Security allow it then it's not Ryanair rules.
I've taken lots of candles through airports, but not with Ryanair.
I think you'll be fine.

Exactly @notimagain the issue is that there is a good chance of having to chuck them away, depending whether checked/stopped or not. ifFine if it’s a couple of tealights; more annoying if expensive 🤷🏻‍♀️
