So, back story I fell a few years ago and tripped on a man hole which had no covering on it and hurt my ankle I attended a&e and had to take time off work, was on crutches etc. I claimed against local council for the cover being missing, it’s been going back and forth I seen a medical doctor on their behalf and my behalf. I got a call from my Solictor to say that’s because it’s past the 3 year mark it’s now going to court as they won’t accept liability, so it’s in court next week, my Solictor seems to think they will make an offer before, we get into the judge so technically time wasting to see if I turn up to court. Has this happened to anyone else? Or has anyone went to court and won ? Sorry just looking some advice.
