Cocktail Shaker - what to accompany gift?

I want to make a gift of a cocktail shaker and have been debating whether to get just the shaker or whether to get a larger set that comes with various cocktail-making accessories.

The thing is that the person will have limited luggage space and would probably rather have the gift as small as possible.

So I'm thinking I might just buy one or two of the myriad of tools that the larger sets include, and pack them inside the shaker to save space.

So my questions are - if you make cocktails - which tools do you think are so indispensable I shouldn't give a shaker without including that? And also if I make a little card with 3 or 4 cocktail recipes which ones should I include?

Not a tool, but how about a recipe book for different cocktails? Very easy to pack

The measure, or "jigger" as its also known, is probably most important, and fits inside the shaker. I noticed some rather lovely cocktail stuff in John Lewis last week. Our four most often made cocktails are: martini, margarita, negroni and cosmopolitan (my favourite). 🍸
