Shoes! What type? Or trainers? Stuck with boots.

Now it is the transition into winter I've been sorting through various wardobe items and I've had some items put aside to give away/sell etc.

It's lead me realise my detault for this time of year is ankle boots/flat plimsoll style shoes when indoors for work or similar. I don't really have trainers I would wear with an outfit (don't trust myself to keep white pairs smart enough!).

So, I think the question I am asking is what are people's go to footwear choices at the moment that aren't just boots like me? That you would wear with jeans or trousers, or any general outfit I guess?

I’ll be no help here but I’m really stuck too still wearing my white trainers with skirts/dresses but need to have a more Wintery option

I am wearing leather hi top trainers with zips for casual wear. I don’t think I will go out if it’s raining unless I buy a pair of welly’s or something. I don’t know.

I suggest Chelsea boots or uggs
