I'm going to see Squeeze tonight with DH.
I've just turned 50
Lost all my confidence. Put on about 7lbs. I'm a size 12...
What the hell do I wear ??

I was going to wear a short shirt dress with black tights and Chelsea boots ??
Will I look too old, too over dressed? Too under dressed ??

Your suggested outfit sounds great. Maybe wear some statement jewellery, or even fishnets to punkify it a bit. Nobody will think you look over or under dressed. I'd say most Squeeze fans range from late 60s to early 40s, and they'll probably bring their teen or adult kids too. So it will be a mix of people. Just wear something fun and cute but ultimately comfortable. And maybe avoid having to use the cloakroom by not bringing a big coat. The queue for the coats used to drive me mad!
Hope you have a great time. I was just singing 'tempted..' by squeeze randomly when I woke up this morning! X

H0nestly, wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

My partner and I go and see a lot of old punk bands.

People wear anything. Some look like they've fallen straight out 1977. Others wear jeans, jumpers and trainers, floral dresses and heels. Anything goes.

Seriously, whatever you wear will he absolutely fine.
