Did your period come back later after each baby?

With my first my period came back after 3 months, with my second it was 13 months. I breastfed both of them and was quite surprised by the difference. I was wondering what everyone else experienced. I've just had my third and hoping my period stays away for a year again!

Yes! My first came back at 3 months, second at 13 months and I’m still waiting on it coming back with my third who is currently 22 months!

Breastfed all of them. Third is still breastfed at 22 months which may explain why it’s not back yet.

4 weeks both times, so no!

17 months (if I remember correctly) and 13 months with the second.

My first my period stay away the whole time I BF (9 months), he was a very frequent feeder! My youngest went on a food strike for about 12 hours when he was about 4 months I think it was and my period turned up 2 weeks later like clockwork, despite the fact after his strike we carried on BF. Youngest was a much lighter, snacky feeder (and a much smaller baby for it).

I think it’s completely random. I never got a natural period after my first as went back on the pill at 5 months, so started the pill break withdrawal bleed then. First was FF.

Second was ebf and period came back like clockwork at 3 months, every 28 days, ovulating day 14 even though I was feeding hourly at that point still. 🤷🏻‍♀️
