Damaged door how to disguise hole...posting for traffic

I did initially post this on DIY but no-one replied,

My bathroom door has been knocked somehow and damaged. I've peeled off the bits sticking out and given it a light sand. Is there anything I can buy or use to disguise the hole/blend it in. I have previously used clear varnish on the door but I don't see that hiding this.

You can google the magic man, they can usually sort it, no idea on price.

You'll need to fill the hole before you varnish it to match.
You could try coloured wood filler, or maybe the stuff used for laminate floors.
If there's nothing for the filler to grip to, you could put on some builders tape, like plasterboard or scrim tape.

A bit of wood filler and a crayon 😂 honestly unless you want to paint the door for it to match that’s the best you’ll be able to do, I wouldn’t use brown paint as you’ll gens up getting it everywhere. You can build up the colour with a crayon.

I have got a colouring pencil out since posting!
I'm reluctant to buy filler really as it's so small, just annoying
