Can I turn "do not disturb" off remotely? Child has lost phone, ringing it isn't helping!

We have family link set up.

I've turned on the location finder but it isn't finding it as we have poor reception in our area.

Is there any way to remotely turn off the do not disturb setting in the hope that someone hears it ringing wherever its been dropped and picks it up?

Is it iPhone or Android?

If iPhone perhaps Find My is set up and you can use that to locate the phone. That can also play a sound on the other phone, which cuts through Do Not Disturb.

Samsung has an equivalent where you can force it to make a sound overriding the do not disturb.

Oh, that's really helpful. Thank you! Will look that up.

When you text you can press ‘Disturb anyway’.

Thank you. No joy yet 🙁

You can 'play sound' via family link. I'm sure that sends a little alarm to the phone.
