Jacobs Cheddars, the big ones not the minis

I find these the most addictive snack on planet earth apart from Twiglets, possibly (it's a close-run thing).

I have recently branched out into the Red Leicester ones and they are also crack cocaine to me. Omg.

I don't work for Jacobs ... but #Jacobs, if you are reading this, I would promote your small thin cheesy biscuits all around the world all day every day for a very average salary, I promise.

What is your top, top, top, ultimate no.1 savoury snack please?

Oh I absolutely love them!
I'd forgotten how much I loved them because I'd got into the habit of buying the mini ones, but then I bought a packet and they are so much better. They are so thin and crispy.
Aldi do a good version too.

Tuc Sandwich crackers - the cheese filling is addictive.

You're right, I remember how wonderful they were when they were first introduced and I wad young enough to be able to eat a pack at a time.Grin

I had to stop buying them because a packet would last......well not very long 😂
Have you tried the pickle onion ones? They were a bit gross.
Edit : they were actually cheese and pickle flavour.

Needmorelego · 26/10/2024 19:17

I like the smokey bbq flavour too but thinking about it I've only seen those as mini ones.

FerminRomeroDeTorres · 26/10/2024 19:19

I much, much prefer the larger ones to the minis - they are thinner and that makes them taste so much better. My granny always had a packet in the biscuit tin so they always remind me of her - love them.

As for the minis - they need to bring back the crinkle ones in the original flavour - I am not interested in your salt & vinegar nonsense.

I can't buy a pack now, just make sure I snaffle the ones from the Xmas cheese biscuiit box. They really don't belong in the mix, they're standalone biscuits which don't need extra cheese on them.

This is the truth! The mini ones are very nice indeed, but the big ones are on a whole other level.

I'm also a fan of the Tuc cheese sandwich to pp who mentioned these.

Me and DH had this conversation about Ritz crackers today!

RobertaSaunter · 26/10/2024 19:59

If you do, can you get them to bring back the Marmite ones? They were actually the best. Ever.

whoami24601 · 26/10/2024 20:05

I like them all but the crinklys in the green packet (cheese and chive?) are next level!

Soberfutures · 26/10/2024 20:21

Best dippped/covered in aioli. 😋

OurLadySaphire · 26/10/2024 20:22

For some reason, the Xmas tree shaped ones taste better than ordinary

Just had two of the Tuc cheese sandwich. It was the end of the packet, I wasn't being restrained in only having two!

My dh loves the cheese footballs that you can get at Christmas. But in recent years they have been really hard to get! I saw some in my small local Sainsburys the other day and bought two tubs so as not to go through the heartache of no cheese footballs this year. I feel really proud of myself and ahead of the game (usually shop for Christmas from about 15th December onwards).
