Care package for my bestie

It's my best friends birthday middle of November. She lives in France (I'm in UK). Planning to send a self care parcel. Items need to be fairly light and also need to pass border control. Any suggestions?

At the moment I am thinking of putting in something from Neil's Yard but that is on the higher end of my budget 🙂

In all honesty, customs are a nightmare now. Look and see if you can send something from within eu

what a lovely though. how about: collagen face mask, a set of eyelashes, a set of new brushes, l'occitane province body wash

I should add she is a quite a bit older than me (think mother figure). She is just coming out of a really hard season at work. Her oldest child has also just flown the nest so I want to do something a little special 😊

I agree with a PP, getting anything through customs is a nightmare and she'd likely have charges to pay to receive it, that can be ridiculous. I'd find somewhere online in the EU and order from them to deliver.

Make sure you order from a French site to avoid charges. Sounds like some face packs and a bottle of fizz will do the trick

Amazon have a French site that you can tick a thing to translate into English, so easy to buy.

I ended up sending her a 'hug in a box'. A really nice scottish wool blanket, salted caramel chocolate bar and candle. The company do international shipping that arrives in 2-5 working days. Highly recommend if anyone is thinking of gifts to send from UK to Europe 😊
