Love feeding the birds, but it's getting expensive. Where do you get good value peanuts from?

Aldi seem to have have them in relatively often.
Otherwise, Poundland, B&M.

The peanuts and the suet pellets are suddenly going quickly - it's clearly getting colder!

Pound shop, b&M type shop, not garden centre ££

Local market hall is the cheapest near me.

I get mine from the local feed merchant - I'm out in the sticks miles from the nearest B&M etc. so I buy my bird feed when I go and stock up with the rest of the animal feeds. Costs a bloody fortune!

I ration the peanuts, they only get those over proper winter. Fatballs every two or three days, seed every other day at this time of year and then I step it up to every day in the winter (mid November through to March).

Our local greengrocers do the cheapest nuts I have e found. Best value fat balls are a local garden centre and I get seeds and mealworms from The Range or B&M. I have a lot of bird feeders so it pays to shop around.
