Curious to know what everyone's up to this weekend. I'm just coming back from a birthday trip away in London. Can't wait to plop on the couch and relax.

I’m going to see Ben Howard in Dublin on Sunday night. Really looking forward to seeing him again.

It's a bank holiday here in Ireland so going to a parade and out for a few drinks

Popping into London in a bit to see Immersive Guys & Dolls. Inset day today so took the 3 kids to soft play and Burger King.

Taking at least 1 child to see The Wild Robot (I think it's called?) tomorrow. Looking forward to a weekend of no clubs or work as all off due to half term!

We live in Wales so off to take the dogs for a long walk along the beach tomorrow before stopping off for coffee on the way home. Home made curry for tea with a few glasses of pinot while we watch the F1 practice/qualifying session later in the day/evening.

Sunday will be a long walk through the woods with the dogs, followed by a Sunday dinner, a Facetime call with my DD who is in her first year at Uni and then the F1 Grand Prix main race in the evening enjoyed with yet more pinot.

A simple life, with simple pleasures but will enjoy it nonetheless. 😊

Busy with dcs all weekend. Saturday they have a swimming lesson, then we've booked an indoor story-themed play centre. Activity farm all day on Sunday.

Cinema tonight, I’m not sure about tomorrow and a spa day on Sunday.

Saturdays are for DCs clubs & activities! Then in the afternoon a group of their friends are coming over for a play date and pizza. Sunday is pumpkin picking and decorating the house for Halloween 🎃

Netflix tonight, hair cut and long bath tomorrow plus cleaning. Sunday cinema with the kids to see the wild Robot.

Bingeing Supernatural before it disappears from Prime in 7 days, on Series 13/15. I’m going to walk the dog in the woods every day over half term. I’m hoping to complete on the buy to let from which we evicted aggressive alcoholic tenant in May, been a bit of a trauma. If that happens, I’ll be buying champagne.

It's a bank holiday at home so all my colleagues have overloaded me for Monday (not a bank holiday here). Dd has gone home to DH for the weekend from Uni. (We're in 3 different cities just now).

I am drinking wine after a hellish week/fortnight...month. Dinner is a pack of hot smoked salmon (€18 and out of date by a month), and an M&S baked cheese thing (I brought 2 back on my last trip but stripped the packaging for eight purposes - 1 broke en route that I only saw tonight but the other survived) with part baked bread. I need to ask DH to bring another when he comes here next week if he has space.

Tomorrow is all about laundry (including handwashing, ugh), cleaning and food shopping. Hopefully also some driving practise as have to collect people from the airport on Thursday (not DH - I can have him freaked out no problem 🙈🫣😳).

Sunday, I hope to be far enough ahead to take advantage of the rare Sunday opening in IKEA (I need a mirror, bookcase, ziplocs for food, elderflower cordial .. and a good wander). And the bury my head in paperwork again.

Monday I am back at work...

Buying a lorry

Been for dinner with dc1 at his uni town tonight. Packing and cleaning tomorrow and then off for 4 days to Disney Paris with two youngest DC on Sunday.

I have a hilly half marathon early tomorrow morning, which I hope the weather and ground conditions won’t be too bad for. Then home to walk the dogs. Then DD has a friend coming for a sleepover and dinner in the evening. Hoping to leave them to it and go for a curry with the DH 😊

That definitely needs more explanation!!

Interview Sat, a shift Sun. Had forgotten about the shift until 10 minutes ago.

Ds is with his dad, so I'm having a lazy evening and a glass of wine in front of the tv (catching up on MAFS 😳).

Tomorrow, I'm having a nice lie in and then making a start on mucking out the spare bedroom/junk room as I have a friend coming over to stay for a few days next month and can barely see the bed for all the (clean) washing that's built up in there! I'm well overdue a sort out of clothes for charity anyway, so will probably take me all weekend.

Working a 12 hour day shift tomorrow. Then I start three 12 hour night shifts in a row on Sunday

So I will either be in work or sleeping

Luckily I love my Job! And it's my first weekend without my DH (he works away!) so I'd rather be busy!
