In February of this year I was hospitalised with pneumonia and it was discovered I also had asthma. In the months since February I have required steroids 4 times and my asthma is hard to manage (as stated by severe asthma team). The severe asthma team have decided I would be a good candidate for biologicals, Mepolizumab (Nucala) is what I’d be prescribed. Is anyone on this? Just wanting to know experiences really, the whole asthma diagnosis really knocked me and not being able to get it under control has really taken its toll on me.
