Eye test for 2.5 year old on the high street?

Does anyone know any high street optician chains that offer eye tests for children under 3? My 2.5 year old dd has suddenly developed a turn in one eye. Has been referred to the eye hospital but it’s a 3 month wait for an appointment. I’ve tried both vision express and specsavers plus an independent local to me (SW London) and they’re unable to see under 3s. Happy to travel anywhere in London if needed!

Not very central, but these guys do. They were recommended to be by an eye consultant after my son was discharged from hospital monitoring. rhttps://henrymorganopticians.co.uk/

Has your GP carried out a red light reflex test? If not go back and insist on one if you can't get to an opticians quickly. It can be done then and there by a GP.

You'd probably be best just waiting for your hospital appointment as they are best placed to treat children of that age.

It's more than likely a sight issue causing the squint e.g. my dd had a squint and turned out she was long sighted and needed glasses. She was under hospital orthoptist care from 18 months old until age 7/8ish at which point she was discharged to a high street optician.

It's near Moorfields Eye Hospital.
