please do your homework.
I am reasonably successful in an area that few people are ever successful in. As such, I get a lot of people asking for free advice or mentorship. I don't mind this.
What I do mind is when people call me
Without having researched what I do
Without having specific questions, just vague rambling
Do not bother to send me a quick thank you after we have spoken.
Surely all these are basic? This isn't a dig at the young btw. All age groups seem to be equally guilty.
