Flu jab - after effects

I had the flu jab middle of last week, had a bit of an achy arm/ felt a bit achy and tired the next day then I’ve been fine over the weekend. Woke up today feeling nauseous, tired, headache.. could it be from the flu jab 5/6 days later? I think the same happened to me last year too. Has anyone else felt a bit off a few days later this year?

I had my flu and Covid jabs together last week and no side effects. I guess I must just be lucky. Hope you feel better soon

I was fine after the flu jab this year. I got 10 days of nerve pain after the COVID jab. Same happened last year but not for 10 days.

I think our immune systems are stroppy sometimes.

Same here. Had a Covid booster and flu jab together at the beginning of October and had no after effects at all. Many people seem amazed at this, and say 'Oh, you're brave , having them at the same time'. Guess I'm just lucky!

Had jab this week. Juts come home feeling feverish and achy and slso a bad painful cough. It's the cough that concerns me as that's not a usual.side effect but my assumption is its because eof the jb.
Feel utterly sxxxx. Can't see many folk reporting painful cough 😢

The only after effects I ever get from my flu jab nowadays is a slightly tender arm for about 4 days afterwards. It's odd, because when I first started having the flu jabs about 30 years ago (when I was 30) for the first 15 years,I always felt rough exactly 24 hours later, for a day or two. A bit feverish and achy, and kept sneezing. After 15 years, these after-effects stopped completely, which I found a bit strange.

Stupidly has my flu jab on Christmas Eve. Never reacted before. By Christmas Day evening felt properly rough especially stomach. Spent today in bed - fever, chills and chucking up. Hope it clears in a couple of days as have family events at the weekend. But I’ve never had a reaction to either flu or Covid jabs before so this has been a bit of a shock!
