Somewhere to eat in Swansea

Visiting Swansea in a couple of weeks time. We're looking to go out for a meal, no where too pricy. Can anyone recommend a good pub or Indian which would be open at lunchtime. Thanks.

La bras is lovely and in town centre or bistro pier (not spelt that right) down mumbles!

Second La Braseria and Vinco lounge.

I wouldn’t go anywhere near La Brasserie these days, used to be good.

Bistro Pierre is good but not city centre, Mumbles has a lot of decent places to eat.

What sort of meal do you want?

Bouchon di rossi is a lovely French place

Indian, Panshee or Rasoi are the absolute best

Mumbles great with loads of restaurants but can be hard to park.

Are you staying in central swansea?

Just visiting my daughter for the day at.uni; singleton campus

I agree with Bouchon di Rossi or Panshee as I've never been to Rasoi. The Mermaid in Mumbles is lovely, the set lunch is good value and the fish was huge. Parking can be a problem and expensive though.

Don't be tempted to visit the Pub on the Pond because it's close to the main uni, it's awful.

Personally I'm a huge fan of Hanson at the Chelsea. Their set lunch is really reasonable
