Vinted have not payed the seller

I bought a dress on vinted. I received the dress, but because the seller never gave proof they shipped the order to vinted, to them it looked like it hadn’t been sent and I was automatically refunded. There was never an option to say I had received it because vinteds system had never registered that it had been sent with their shipping label. I think the seller just sent it with their own shipping label.
i contacted vinted about the issue a week ago and haven’t heard back. I tried again earlier and got an automated response that the volumes of enquires they get are very high and if I keep contacting them about it it will take more time. The seller has very poor English and I’m worried they’re going to start to think I have somehow scammed them,

Bank transfer ??

I've had this before and you just have to pester Vinted customer services and they will manually generate the message that tells you to click to confirm you've received it. It took me a few repeated contacts with customer services though as they kept misunderstanding what I was saying. I wouldn't bank transfer it though, safer to do it through Vinted.

I'm sure if they can understand how to use vinted then they will understand your offer of a bank transfer if you simply ask for their sort code and account number. If they don't/ can't accept then leave vinted to sort it. At least you can show that you have tried.
