If a person is registered as a vulnerable person with the police and is autistic, has issues with noise and has mobility issues and a fear of lifts and that person becomes homeless is it legal for the local authority to place them in a tower block above the ground floor in a high crime rate place around drug addicts and people who have been released from prison? Can that person make a claim against the council if they have done that and it has been detrimental to their mental health? TIA

I don't think so. But I'm not a lawyer.

I don't think anyone can ever guarantee you those things, anywhere, not just in social housing.

I'd recommend visiting citizens advice for proper advice from folk who know the system. Or speak to your social worker, if you have one.
