Non-scary halloween movies

Hi all, so I'm planning a movie night for my daughter and a few friends for Halloween. She has just turned 7 and is quite easily frightened so trying to find something not too spooky but also not too "babysish". Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hotel Transylvania
Monster House
Paranorman
Casper

But do watch beforehand to make sure.

We've just watched Halloween Town on Disney+, my dc don't like scary things, they enjoyed it!

The Little Vampire
Halloweentown
Casper & Wendy (the prev mentioned Casper film is the best, though the villainess could actually be a bit terrifying)

Casper
Scooby doo
Harry potter (first one)
Monster house
Monsters vs aliens
Home
Simpsons horror episodes

Hocus pocus
Addams family
Witches
Coco

We watched hocus pocus tonight and it was quite scary! It's years since I've seen it . Talk about Virgins and eating children, I was thinking if it came out today it would be banned
Lol
I'll maybe put Halloween town on over the weekend for them, looks good 🤗

Haunted Mansion
Spookley the square pumpkin
Corpse Bride

Casper and Wendy was my fave film at her age

AllTheAll · 18/10/2024 22:12

My son liked Hubie Halloween. The only scary part is that he now likes Adam Sandler.

BonnieBonnet · 18/10/2024 22:29

I second Harry potter

Coraline

evtheria · 18/10/2024 22:34

Omg do not put on Coraline, OP! It's a great kids' scary film but actual emphasis on creepy/scary.

Shameless place marking...!
