My DD2 best friend is Indian and her parents are hosting a Diwali morning party for toddlers. Should we bring anything? Wear anything in particular? Thanks

I personally would take a gift, not sure what hopefully someone will be able to help and I would put bright party clothes on dd. Hope you all have a fantastic time

Take a gift, could be maybe some diyas?? But anything like home decoration etc. would be okay and then perhaps some flowers or chocolate.

Bring/wear whatever you would to any toddler party.

But with the addition of a Diwali card.

Take a card and perhaps a gift. If you are lucky enough to have somewhere local then some Indian sweets would be good. I’ve only ever been to large Diwali celebrations rather than a family one.

Card Factory sell Diwali cards (this may depend on area). A box of chocolates/sweets would be well received. I agree with a previous poster that wearing a bright outfit would be nice if you can as Diwali is a riot of colours. I hope you and DD enjoy the party.

Thanks all this is super helpful, the mum gave me a really gorgeous care package of lots of little gifts in birth of my recent baby so I want to get it right

Don't over think it, they want your company and will appreciate you making the effort and going. Be prepared to come home very full as the food will be amazing.

Just take a box of chocolates and a candle
