I cannot be the only sooky sap over things like this surely!

As a kid I ALWAYS wanted the fun fruity bubblegum toothpaste and I don’t know if it was because it was more expensive 30y ago or my parents hated the idea but we were NEVER allowed it (I distinctly recall the dentist giving me the tiniest sample size and I loved it and refused to use it because it was special) anyway, I’ve randomly thought of it over the years especially when buying the kids toothpaste but obviously wouldn’t use it myself.

A friend of a friend came to visit and bought me some teeth whitening stuff I asked for and as a surprise fun extra, she brought some adult, hot pink, Barbie bubblegum flavoured toothpaste and I have just bawled my eyes out whilst brushing my teeth because it feels like I finally got that silly wish from 30 years ago, she will probably think I’m a lunatic so probably won’t tell her this but oh! What a really lovely thing.
