Moment of kindness today…

Was in Tesco today with my 6 month old baby, she’s poorly and was screaming and screaming. Lots of people were looking at me and her. She has screamed all day and I just broke down in tears with worry and because I feel so sorry for her.

A lovely checkout operator came and gave me a hug and another told me I was doing a good job. It really lifted me.

Theres a lot of animosity for babies and parents out there and even on this forum and I was so grateful for the kindness in that moment that I just wanted to share!

This made me feel better, been reading horrible Middle East war news all day. Thank you

Awww OP, sorry your baby is poorly and you’ve had such a difficult day but that’s lovely you found kindness and support in your hour of need. I hope she’s getting better and asleep and that you have a decent night 🌺

Poorly babies are exhausting in a way that few other things are, it’s really rough.

Lovely story OP, just goes to show, little things really do mean a lot.
A quick hug and a kind word when one is feeling upset, goes a long way to brightening the day.
Thanks for sharing, I hope your little one is feeling better and that you all have a good night :)

Sorry to hear that your little one is poorly @Tomorrowtomorrowtomorrow.

I hope she settles for the night, so you both get some rest, and by tomorrow she starts to improve and will make a swift recovery.
Kind thoughts to you.
