How to get rid of vape smell?

I got a new (used) car and I thought I could smell vape lingering. I purchased an air freshener and that covered it, it's not strong but I'm fussy with smells. Now the air freshener is nearly used up, I can start to smell the vape smell again. How can I get rid of it permanently?

Vape really doesn't smell that strong for that long, are you sure that's what the problem is? Unless like a whole bottle of vape juice has leaked under a seat or something?

You sure the seller they didn't use one of those scent bombs? They sort of get in the upholstery and linger in a faint whiff. Can smell like vape depending on the fragrance used.

Probably an old air freshener somewhere rather than vape

Yeah it might not be a vape. It's not a smoke smell as I can spot that a mile off. It's hard to explain. But I don't like it whatever it is. No old air fresheners lurking around.

Is it a Citroen by any chance? Only ask as mine has a built in air freshener that looks like a silver touch button! Took me a few months to work out what it was.. it was my 11yo son who did in the end
