My ex said that I could sleep overnight

I have recently split from my partner of 12 years we were chatting and got most of the contact settled after about 3 months which I am more than happy about! I did have a question though the conversation of a birthday party came up and she said I could stay overnight she said she wasn't interested but I still do have lingering feelings there. I just wanted to see people's thoughts on this??
