Can council employees get a Costco card?

I’ve started working for the council and wondered whether this makes me eligible for a Costco individual membership?

I work for a local authority, and yes, we are eligible for Costco membership. They come to the offices now and again to sign people up.

I can't remember now what proof I had to provide - I think it could have been a recent payslip and my LA ID badge, but it probably says what you need on the Costco website.

You can just go to a Costco warehouse and join - you don't need to be signed up via an office visit from them .

If it comes under local government or civil service then yes you could get one. If you're unsure I recommend popping in to see them and someone there will usually be happy to help.

Probably quicker, less hassle and less hostile just to look at the list on the website under membership. It will probably be under individual membership.
