Has anyone done a spa day alone?

I like the idea of it, but I have no one to go with! Is it something people ever do alone or is it always with other people? Would it look odd to be alone?

I haven't but a spa day on my own sounds like heaven.

I'm too insecure to do it with others.

Yes and it's nice. Always done it midweek when spa hasn't been busy.
Usually had some treatment booked for a chunk of the time then done thermal suite type activity, lunch and some snoozing on a heated lounger.

Done it in spas all over the UK.

I’ve mostly gone alone! I don’t find it very relaxing to be chatting all day when I’d really like to close my eyes. The twilight spas seem to be full of people on their own just looking for some quiet and some space.

Yes. I take a book and have a lovely relaxing time.

I was going to ask similar. Where and what times of day/day of the week do people recommend for going alone?

I just take a book and don't worry!

I’ve done it, its complete bliss. I can swim when I want, bubble when I want, steam when I want, sauna when I want, have lots of extra cups of tea when I want, read when I want. Nothing better (unless going with a friend who knows you really well!).

Much nicer than going with friends! You can just please yourself
