evening birthday experience or meal in London

Any suggestions for an adults birthday evening in London with their teenagers - very soon. Something different to just a restaurant or perhaps an unusual restaurant. Under £100 per head and ideally well under. For someone who likes to try different experiences rather than an expensive formal restaurant. Thanks

I went to the Fawlty Towers dining experience a few months ago which is dinner with a Fawlty Towers comedy show amongst the dinner tables. It was excellent!

Thank you. That is the type of idea. Not sure the teens know Fawlty Towers so any other ideas welcome too.

How old are the teens? Tickets for Cabaret can sometimes be got for £30 a head, although often much more. It's really, really good.

One of the immersive experiences where you can get food? I’m thinking of something like Phantom Peak or The Gunpowder Plot.

13 might be a bit young for Cabaret.

www.swingers.club/uk and sixescricket.com/ are both good fun

Haven't tried yet but www.westendmusicalbrunch.co.uk/ or www.monopolylifesized.com/about-the-experience/

Although it's a chain, we've always had a nice time at Sticks n Sushi. It's not so much of an 'experience' but I thought the food was really lovely and it is a lively atmosphere.

imamo? It’s average Japanese food but with interactive tables on which you can order the food and play games. There are usually good deals on groupon etc.

SavingNotSpending · 13/10/2024 22:22

I was going to suggest Inamo too. Good deals and the food is lovely.

If you like activities where they bring nibbly food to you while you do an activity rather than a sit down meal, there is Flight Club which is electronic darts, F1 Simulator at One New Change where you race in Formula 1 simulators (ie you sit in racing seats but don't move), All Stars in Bloomsbury which is fancy bowling, and some fancy electronic mini golf (Swingers, I think?). All mainly serving the corporate hospitality/ team night out market and do great cocktails. Not sure how late they would let under 18s in, though they all do during the day.
