What’s your favourite cereal?

I’m partial to some cereal, for snacking purposes, rather than for breakfast…

My current favourite is the new KitKat cereal! What’s yours?

In the following order

Cheerios
Rice crispies sprinkled with sugar
Cornflakes sprinkled with sugar

Nothing better than a bowl of one of the above with fresh ice cold semi skimmed. I could eat cereal for breakfast lunch and dinner.

PivotPivotmakingmargaritas · 13/10/2024 13:50

Cornflakes all day every day… hurts my soul my toddler doesn’t like cornflakes

ErinAoife · 13/10/2024 13:50

Mini chocolate weetabix

The only time I ate cereal was during pregnancy.
It HAD to be crunchy nut cornflakes with ice cold milk.

Not touched any cereal in any shape or form since! (DC is 11)

Endllllessslyendingggs · 13/10/2024 13:51

I only really like porridge.

FuckMeUpFlorida · 13/10/2024 13:57

Sultana bran! Love it. Had a big bowl this morning.

HelpMeGetThrough · 13/10/2024 14:06

I don't eat much cereal, but it goes in this order of favourites if I did:

Shredded Wheat
Weetabix
Cornflakes

If it's crunchy nut cornflakes it would be at the top of the list.

Quite partial to a bit of rabbit food, I mean muesli too.

OH loves Premier Inn porridge.

Sultana bran! Love it. Had a big bowl this morning.

Now I've read this, I'd put it on the list too.

Cocolapew · 13/10/2024 14:10

Coco Pops
Cornflakes with lots of sugar, either hot or cold milk
Frosties
Chocolate cluster things by Kelloggs

TheGriffle · 13/10/2024 14:11

Lidls version of Krave. It’s delicious as a snack without milk. Not too keen on it with milk tbh!

KizzyDora · 13/10/2024 14:16

Lucky charms

ShiningforLeeBertie · 13/10/2024 14:17

I'll never forgive Kelloggs for discontinuing Start, no other cereal comes close to that for me

spiritgoat · 13/10/2024 14:18

I came to say the KitKat one too!

IveGotToGoToMeDads · 13/10/2024 14:21

Think i'm going to try kitkat cerael as not had it yet.
I do like protein weetbix
& Rice crispies usually.

BebbanburgIsMine · 13/10/2024 14:24

Cheerios

Not with milk though, I hate milk and don't eat any dairy produce.

Just eat it dry, lovely!

Goatblu · 13/10/2024 14:25

I've never really eaten cereal (never liked milk) but co op used to do a dark chocolate and cherry granola and I could eat it straight from the box. Probably a good thing that they no longer stock it.

Devilsmommy · 13/10/2024 14:37

Golden Graham's was the best but you only see the cinnamon ones now😞 Coco pops second

Pascha · 13/10/2024 14:45

I'm not much of a cereal eater but in this house, in no particular order:

Blueberry Wheats
Shreddies
Weetabix
Porridge

Are the more regularly bought ones. The porridge oats are more often used for flapjack and the weetabix only come out a few times a year. The others are the kids choices mainly.

Carouselfish · 13/10/2024 14:47

Malted Wheats. Sometimes cinnamon Grahams.

Hyacinthandrichard · 13/10/2024 14:48

Mini chocolate weetabix here too but a box last about 4 bowls and it's too expensive

Blackberrycloud · 13/10/2024 14:49

Crunchy nut cornflakes with ice cold milk! I only get them about once a year though, I love them so much that I usually end up eating the whole box in one sitting! 🫣

loropianalover · 13/10/2024 14:49

For snacking I like the purple box of Krave or Coco pops rocks.

For breakfast cereal I like Rice Krispies best!

GroovyChick87 · 13/10/2024 14:50

I'm rarely in the mood for cereal but fruit and nut or fruit filled wheats.

JBJ · 13/10/2024 14:52

Crunchy Nut or mini weetabix chocolate. Also love the coco pops chocos. Generally eat normal weetabix or porridge though!

liquidsquidli · 13/10/2024 14:56

I can't imagine snacking on dry cereal
But I like it for breakfast
Anything cheap! Basic cornflakes or rice crispies

Porridge at the moment using this recipe

40g oats (organic Aldi)
220 ml milk or water or a mix
50% power in microwave for 5 mins
10g brown sugar
10g raisins
Teaspoon of cinnamon or to taste
