DS seems to be really enjoying numbers. I'm not great with maths and don't naturally gravitate towards numbers, but would like to make an effort to nurture this whilst he's showing a natural interest. So far I've bought a workbook (not my finest idea but it was me making an effort!) and a times table card for his yoto, which gets listened to quite a bit. But wondering if there are games/things out there aimed at keeping maths fun whilst also learning? Hell maybe I'll learn something!!

Shut the box and monopoly as previously suggested are good. Mine also really liked roulette and by 7 was a bit of a demon at it working out odds on betting. He hasn’t become a gambling addict and is excellent at maths still (now a student).

Sum swamp is fantastic. We also used to buy our own penny sweets, put prices on them, and then have an occasional sweet shop. I also used to play games where each toy had some coins and had to pair up with the right partner to pay to go to a party (this was learning number bonds by stealth).
