Can you dance?

Watching Strictly Come Dancing and just in awe just how coordinated they are.
My bar is very low as I have two left feet and can trip going up the stairs 😂

No. I'm not flexible, I don't have good awareness of body position, and I can't memorise sequences of movements. Think of the worst person you've seen on Strictly. I'd be worse than them.

My top half can dance, and my bottom half can dance, but never at the same time.

By myself, yes. With someone else, no.

Theoretically yes I can dance. Years of ballroom and latin american classes in my youger days. It's how I met my DH. But practically I'm old, fat and disabled so if I tried the flashing lights would more likely be the ambulance I'd be needing.

I'm awful! I've had years of dancing, different types & while I know the steps it just looks pants

My dad always said there were 4 types of dancer

Can't dance & don't know the steps - that was my mum
Can't dance but know the steps- that's me
Can dance but don't know any formal steps - that was my dad
And those rare people who know the steps and can dance - DH & DD are both this!!

You've all made me feel so much better 😆
I always think I'm literally the only person who can't dance!
