Travel size hand wash for Eczema

I get bad eczema flare ups if I use the hand wash in wash rooms when I am out. Does anyone have any suggestions for eczema friendly hand wash that comes in travel size?

I have consulted Google, but most eczema friendly hand wash products come in a minimum size of 200ml. A bit too large to put in my handbag.

I could of course dispense my Dermol hand wash in travel size bottles as a last resort.

Does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advance!

I use emollient cream as a handwash/soap replacement. I take the 50g size epaderm cream pump with me when I travel

Just put it in a travel bottle?

Exactly what I was going to say. You can buy empty travel bottles from larger supermarkets and chemists and just fill with whatever cream you can use.

Those small anti bac run bottles would be an ideal size to put it in.

My daughter uses dermol 500 as a soap substitute , we just put it in a mini hand dispenser.

When you load the small bottle, use a funnel , you can get a small rubber funnel which is ridged and flexible so it fits almost any bottle. It stops air bubbles forming and stuff running out all over the sink/ work surface.

Epiderm does a small pump style emollient that doubles up as a wash and a moisturiser. I have one of those in my bag. I usually find it at Boots

Thanks all for your fabulous advice. I have gone out and bought the Epiderm 50g cream pump recommended by several posters!

This sounds great, does it properly clean hands after using public toilets?

@Sunshineandrainbow i've wondered that in light of hand sanitisers and more awareness around the exact science of washing hands. I'm not sure of the exact details of how effective it is at killing germs, I just know that every gp that has prescribed it and other emollients have always said its used instead of soap as a wash as well as a moisturiser. And when I've been in hospital the nurses have used it as a wash. I couldn't use soap previously (I can manage a little now and again on my hands in public loos these days) and when I couldn't I figured it was better than just water.

Thanks @Breathmiller my hands are absolutely awful in the winter and I know I over wash them. I wish more soaps were sls free. The only pump one I have found is sanex.
