It's been a long road but DS23 next month is ready to start studying his 'passion' at Degree-level next year. He did a trial-run through clearing this year to see if he got any offers and he got some. For 3 year courses, not the 4 year foundation degrees currently on offer based on last year's UCAS points. And this year he's getting some more points via an Apprenticeship (the new version which keeps the NEET levels down I surmise).

He's convinced me that he knows enough about writing essays and the need for referencing that he doesn't need a foundation year to understand this.

Thankfully his passion is History and not some niche subject - so, please, the choices before us are many - and if any fellow MNetters have any suggestions to narrow the 'field' towards a Uni that has a good understanding of the autistic 'spectrum' and it's various 'presentations' then I'd really appreciate that.
