Had a new combi boiler fitted yesterday. Today hot water is literally white and cloudy and smells abit.

Do I need to get engineers back?

Smells of what?
If you pour some in to a glass and let it cool, does it gradually go clear?

NeverDropYourMooncup · 09/10/2024 20:17

There's just some air in there. Nothing to worry about, it'll clear as you use the water.

CornishTeaTime · 10/10/2024 20:28

Yes they said air and it would clear

No, you don't ned engineers, just run a cold water tap until it runs clear.

That was the advice an engineer gae me, its residue from the pipes.

CornishTeaTime · 11/10/2024 18:57

Its the water in the hot tap not cold
