Somewhere to hang out near Woking

Me and adult DD have a day to kill...we'll be in Woking on Sat night, then want to spend Sunday together before going our separate ways. We'll have a car and at some point I'll need to drop her at the station to get a train back (ideally the line going to Heathrow or Paddington, not Waterloo unless it stops at Richmond). Any suggestions please? With wet weather option?

You could head over to RHS Wisley if the weather is looking nice. Or a bit further to drive but there is a sculpture park that is fabulous … can’t remember what it’s called but sure you can find it on google.

Am struggling to think of good indoor things but will ponder on it

A couple of thoughts:

• Painshill Park near Cobham is good for a walk, explore of the grotto and lunch or tea and cake
• Silent Pool is another good spot for a walk, and there’s a gin distillery that does tours etc, again that’s about 15-20 mins away
• There’s a small spa in Brooklands hotel which would be about a 15 mins drive for an indoor activity
