God no, I just go and walk my dog. I don't walk in a great area but there's no way I'm wearing a body cam to do an everyday activity.

The OP asked for recommendations, not opinions on if she should wear one or not. Why even bother commenting?

The thread title asks whether you use one, so of course it's reasonable to answer that.

I don't use one either.

DS has an ancient GoPro that he uses for certain sports (and it seems to be a good solid workhorse of a body-worn cam)

I have this one for running and dog walking. We live very remotely and have had a few issues with motorhome owners on our land, they’re not all particularly pleasant. I run with the dogs on very dark remote paths and roads in winter and this gives me peace of mind.

Thank you everyone and particularly HP, im thinking of getting them for my daughters who both live in cities and walk everywhere. I know they arent a protection against assault by dodgy types, but im starting to think its prudent to get personal cams, without going over the top.
I thought dog walkers etc might have opinions (i take on board what everyone said, its all valuable).thanks again.
