Miele washer not washing well

Hi just in case anyone can help. I've cleaned the machine, cleaned the condenser water out, cleaned the rim - but still clothes come out smelling slightly. I used to use Halo sports wash which meant they didn't smell but can't seem to get that any more. Even on high temperatures the smell is still there. The washer gets everything clean and seems to work - what else could I try.....

Run an empty hot wash ,hottest cycle there is. Keep doing it until the smell goes, might take several attempts. I sometimes put a dishwasher tablet in the drum too.

When you have taken the powder/softener drawer out to wash have you washed inside where the drawer goes? That can get mouldy. I have a bottle brush I use to get into the nooks and crannies.

Thank you both very much - I did both these things and also added 250g soda crystals and after several cycles the washer is finally as good as new. I appreciate your help. C
