Help me !! How do you fit a wire band on a washing machine !!

Been trying for 4 hours now and no luck ! I just need to fit the wire band that goes around the seal ( as I’ve fitted a new one ) please anyone !!! Any way to do it without a tool I need to get washing done tonight as I’m drowning in it 😭😭

Short answer is you need the tool, it’s almost impossible without. Can get from Amazon next day.

There's a tool?! That's DH's Christmas present sorted. It happens here from time to time and he hates having to fix it!
