For the last 6 weeks, I keep finding unusual bruising on myself. The only two places affected have been my legs and my hands. The most recent bruise was on the back of my leg, just beneath the back of my knee area. There is no way I injured myself there. It’s only a couple of bruises at a time. They will fade and 2 more will appear. Otherwise, I feel totally exhausted and in the last week, I have begun experiencing intense body aches. It feels like it’s my joints. But then when I walk around I feel like my muscles very quickly start aching too.

I have no idea what’s going on, but some scary stuff came up on Google and I’m so worried.

I did send my GP an econsult today, asking for blood tests. I should hear back from that tomorrow. I just feel horrendous and can’t help but fear it’s something bad!

Could be low iron as that causes those symptoms. Good you are getting tests.

Oh really! I so hope it’s that. My anxiety is getting out of control over this.

I know it's easy to say try not to worry but really, it could be something simple. Stop googling and chat to your Dr when the results come in. Take care.

Small children visiting at night and doing their thrashing around, taking up 94% of the usable bed space and kicking you in your sleep?

I got some crackers that way.

YourRosePoster · 07/10/2024 20:36

@NeverDropYourMooncup - the kids are 11 and 8, so unfortunately not that. 😢

Get your bloods done. I have iron deficiency anaemia and DD has hyperthyroidism, both fit your symptoms, neither are anything to worry about.
Google is not your friend.
