Our Funeral Directors have been wonderful and yes we have paid them loads of money but I would like to give them a gift. Flowers are not appropriate but what you gift them ?

I think a card saying what their service meant would be perfect and maybe a box of biscuits.

My sister is a Funeral Director and they often get given tins of nice biscuits to share amongst staff.

Also the company she works for really does appreciate Google reviews.

It's nice that you want to do this but they are doing their job and as you say they are bloody expensive. Remember that you probably feel like this because of your grief. Everyone after a funeral that has gone well (which should be most of them) will feel like this.

Before you start thinking in earnest, I'd check whether they are able to accept gifts because I'd expect most good funeral directors would refuse gifts - releasing they are dealing with very vunerable people.

If you are dead set on it, I'd go for a box/large tub of celebrations or similar individually wrapped chocolates that they can all share without 'infection' risk (Covid)

Personally, I wouldn't though. Write them a nice card or note and express your gratitude that way.

Reviews, card of thanks, email to boss/ head office.
Box of cakes, biscuits, nice tea or coffee.

We gave ours a box of nice biscuits and a card. They were really pleased.

A good review definitely. A lovely card and perhaps wrapped chocolates or biscuits.

Thank you - Good review is a given and a nice box of M and S biscuits I never thought of.
