Do I want an Instant Pot or a Ninja Multicooker?

I'm in the market for a new kitchen gadget. Both my slow cooker and soup maker are on their last legs. At this time of year I use them each a couple of times a week so rather than replace like with like I thought I might get a multi purpose item instead.

I know I could use a saucepan and a stick blender for soup but it's never as smooth as using the soup maker and I like the convenience of bunging everything in and walking away.

Which is better? Instant Pot or Ninja? Indeed, will they both do what I want? I won't lie I'm also hoping for a Prime Day bargain too.

If my Instant Pot died, I'd buy another in an ... instant. It's great for all sorts of dishes, and makes a good risotto without all that stirring. It's a while since I made a cheesecake in it, but that was good too. I also use it to make yoghurt and to prove bread dough.

I have an Instant Pot Duo Crisp and a Ninja Foodi Max. I started off with the Instant Pot which is great as a slow cooker and pressure cooker but is on the small (and deep) side as an air fryer. The Ninja is used daily as it is roomy enough to use as a small oven/air fryer. I guess it depends what you need your gadget for. I could probably live without the Instant Pot and use the hob for soups, chillis etc but I definitely make so much use of the Ninja that I rarely use my conventional oven these days.

Thank you both. It looks like both have their merits but I'm veering towards the Instant Pot as I don't need the air fryer capability. Now to see if there's any Prime offers...
